2017 UFO Festival Laser Shows

The UFO Festival Laser Shows are held in the Robert H. Goddard Planetarium located on the north side of the Roswell Museum and Art Center at 100 West 11th Street. You may enter and exit through the Museum to access the Planetarium until the Museum closes at 5 pm. The Planetarium will be open during the festival from 11 am through the last laser show each day.


Tickets may be purchased in advance through the Museum Store* located inside the Museum June 20-28. Beginning Thursday, June 29, tickets will be sold directly in the Planetarium throughout the festival from 11 am-7pm Thursday and Sunday and 11am - 9 pm Friday and Saturday. Please note, the planetarium seats 120 people.The shows are extremely popular and often sell out, particularly in the evenings. We recommend purchasing your tickets in advance to ensure your first choice of shows.
*The Museum Store hours are Tuesday-Saturday, 9 am - 4:30 pm and Sunday, 1-4:30 pm. The Store is closed for lunch from 12:30-1:30 pm. 

When to arrive:

Doors open 30 minutes before each show for general seating and patrons often start lining up as early as 60 minutes in advance to have their first choice of seats. Please note: We are not able to admit patrons after the shows have begun. Tickets for no-shows or late arrivals are nonrefundable. You must have a ticket to be admitted.


Parking is available in the lots south and southwest of the Museum and on the street outside the planetarium (standard parking regulations apply). Please be respectful of nearby businesses and organizations when parking.

Show Length:

The show are approximately 45 minutes each, except for Laser Beatles which is 30 minutes.

Laser Tribute pays homage to some of these great artists whose music has touched and inspired us all.  May their legacies live on, one song at a time.

Laser Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon

If you ever find yourself in Suffragette City, Ramble On down to the station and hop on-board the Crazy Train! Space-faring guitars, distant worlds, and sneering skulls dominate this high-voltage journey through laser lights and music. From kinetic classics by Yes and Rush to ear shredders by Motörhead and Ozzy Osbourne, this show will keep your head pounding long after the music ends!
