  3. Strange But True Tales of New Mexico at the Roswell Public Library

    Join us for a presentation by Ms. Mary Mortensen Diecker. Mary is the author of three volumes of "Roadrunner Tales," containing 1,000 stories about New Mexico. Storytelling has long been a tradition in the Land of Enchantment, helping provide a link between its people and their cultures and conveying the lessons and stories of New Mexico's past. This presentation is a collection of 'strange but true' stories -- some humorous, some poignant -- that illuminate the state's history.
