    Pets Caught Reading contest: Share a photo of your pets “reading” for National Pet Month! Contest runs May 1-15, 2018. Share your photos directly to the Library Facebook page or send your photo to childrens@roswell-nm.gov with your name and contact phone number. Photos will be shared via Facebook & Instagram and will also be displayed in the Library display case. Entries will be entered into a random drawing for a gift card from Wildlife Safari Animal Emporium! Winner will be notified on May 16, 2018.

  2. National Photo Month Teen Workshop at the Roswell Public Library

    May 8, 2018, 5:00 PM - 7:00 PM @ Bondurant Room

    Tuesday, May 8 from 5-7PM Bondurant Room, recommended for ages 13-19 It’s National Photo Month! We will be utilizing Library iPads to show teens easy ways to make great photos. We will go over the basics of photography and allow teens to create their own still life to photograph with the Library iPads. Composition and editing techniques will be discussed. The teens will vote on their favorites for different categories and each photograph will be posted to Facebook, Instagram, and the Library website. Registration is recommended. Call the Library for more information.
