Summer Recreation Camps at Spring River Zoo

Sign up at Roswell Connect (registration deadline Friday prior to camp)
Ages: 4-17 (Age groups vary by camp)
Camp Hours: Pre-K camps, 8 a.m.-noon; All other camps, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Campers receive camp T-shirt and daily lunch/snack. 
Instructions: Arrive at 8 a.m. Please bring a water bottle and sunscreen, and wear closed-toe shoes.

Pre-K Camp
June 6-10, 8 a.m.-noon
Ages 4-5, $65/child
Registration
Camp for younger children not quite ready for school. Focus on animal-themed arts and crafts, stories and more! Parents are welcome, with camp costs covering parent admission.

Predator and Prey Camp
June 13-17, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ages 6+, $85/child
Registration
Camp for school-age children filled with activities that teach kids about how predators and prey interact in the wild. This is a week-long camp with each day's information building on the next.

Jr. Zookeepers Camp
June 20-24, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ages 13-17, $85/Child
Registration
Camp for teenagers interested in what a zookeeper does! This is a week-long camp that allows those not yet of age to volunteer a behind-the-scenes look at the zoo and how keepers care for the animals.

Camouflage Camp
June 27-July 1, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ages 6+, $85/Child

Camp for school-age children filled with activities that teach kids about camouflage! This is a week-long camp that will have a scientific experiment running throughout the entire week.

Biomes Camp
July 11-15, 8 a.m.-3 p.m.
Ages 9-12, $85/Child

Camp for school-age children filled with activities about different ecosystems. Each day will feature a different biome and children will learn about the different plants and animals that live there.

Ages 13-17, $85/Child

Camp for teenagers designed to study what type of research goes on at zoos! A week-long camp that will focus on animal welfare and behavior. There is also the opportunity for participants to customize what they wish to discuss.
