Roswell Police Department Now Hiring!

Support a community that supports you! RPD is hiring non-certified police recruits and certified police officers. Starting pay for uncertified applicants starts at $19.09 and is increased within the first year. 

Certified Officer service and experience is recognized and reflected in pay.

  • Four, 10-hour shift work week with three days off.
  • $10,000 sign-on bonus (Laterals Only)
  • $1,000 moving expense reimbursement*

Pay & Incentives

Pay for officers can vary and our department has many incentives to increase your own pay! 

  • Certified Level 1 Officer: $22.37- $32.59
  • Level 2 Officer: $23.28-$33.91
  • Level 3 Officer: $24.22- $35.28 
  • Swing Shift Differential: $0.75/ hour 
  • Midnight Shift Differential: $1.00/ hour
