Responsibilities


Accounting personnel are responsible for:
  • Answering inquiries by the public and other departments
  • Bank reconciling and filing of all required federal and state reports on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis
  • Daily collection of accounts receivable and cash
  • Monthly and annual financial statements
  • Processing of the bi-weekly payroll

Standards


Accounting standards control the activities of this department and prepare the city for its annual audit.
