City Clerk Responsibilities


The City Clerk is responsible for keeping accurate records of agendas and minutes of all city council meetings, processing liquor licenses, responding to Inspection of Public Records Act requests and organizing and holding municipal elections.

City Council Meeting Documents


The City Clerk creates City Council Agendas and the packet of information attached to the agenda as backup material for each Council Meeting. The backup material is gathered from each department responsible for that specific agenda item.

The City Clerk is considered the Primary Records Custodian for the City of Roswell and processes all Inspection of Public Record Act requests according to the New Mexico Inspection of Public Records Act.
