Dorothy RamirezWhat brought you to Roswell?
I moved here for better employment opportunities.

What is your favorite thing about Roswell?
The slow atmosphere. I like the pace of this town, as it’s not all hustle and bustle like Albuquerque or a bigger city.

What question or comment do you get most frequently from Visitor Center guests?
People ask what there is to do in this town. I like to tell them there are a lot of great local places that have really good food. If they don’t mind outdoor dining, there are our local taco trucks. But either way, they’ll love the food.

Caoimhe GilcrhistWhat brought you to Roswell?
My family and I moved to Roswell in 2009 for better opportunities, and I have lived here ever since.

  • What is your favorite thing about Roswell?
    • My favorite thing about Roswell is how hospitable our community is towards our visitors. I always hear positive comments from our guests about their experiences with the locals here, and I am glad that we have so many friendly people in Roswell.

What question or comment do you get most frequently from Visitor Center guests?
I am most often asked by our guests, “Do you believe?” When they ask me this, I tell them I believe that there could be something out there, but I’m just not too sure of what it could be. As for the 1947 crash, I can say I believe something occurred there. Was it an actual UFO, some military technology that crashed, or a regular weather balloon? I don't know. I also always make a point to recommend the International UFO Museum as it is the best place to form one’s own opinion on what occurred here in Roswell.

What brought you to Roswell?
I was born & raised! I grew up loving to be outdoors with friends and family.  I attended Roswell High School for a couple of years (go Coyotes!).

What is your favorite thing about Roswell?
All the beautiful trees. The pecan orchard trees are amazing and the bur oaks are so big and beautiful! Everywhere you go in town, you won't miss a tree.

What’s the question or comment you get the most from Visitor Center guests?
Where is the crash site? Do you believe? I do believe, there is tons of evidence. Plus, our universe is way too big for us to be the only ones here.
