Department Responsibilities


Human Resources provides a variety of services to ensure employees are managed fairly, are well-trained, supported and assigned job duties to accomplish City business goals in a cost-effective, efficient and safe manner. 

We are responsible for providing a variety of services such as:
  • Classification and compensation management
  • Employee training for the City of Roswell's diverse workforce
  • Organizational development
  • Recruitment and staffing
We do this so employees are managed fairly, are well-trained, supported and assigned job duties to accomplish City business goals in a cost-effective, efficient and safe manner.

We provide employment assistance and information to both internal and external customers.

The Director of Human Resources also serves as the ADA Coordinator for the City of Roswell.
