Communications Center

The Roswell Police Department is served by the Pecos Valley Regional Communications Center. The center serves as the hub of the day-to-day dispatch operations of the Police Department and the Chaves County Sheriff's Office, as well as city and county fire departments and other entities.

The communications staff is responsible for answering multiple emergency-911 lines, additional telephone lines, and handling 17 radio frequencies that provide communications to and among everything from several police agencies, the sheriff's office and multiple fire departments to animal control and court security.
