RISD has four high schools: Roswell High School, Goddard High School, Early College High School and University High School. There are also four middle schools and 12 elementary schools. The high school students have the option to enroll in advanced placement, college bound or traditional classes. More than 60 percent of graduating seniors choose to continue their education after high school. The current student population with RISD is approximately 10,000, boasting a districtwide attendance rate of 95.4 percent. Sports play a major role in the student's physical fitness and RISD schools have won many state championships in football, basketball, competitive cheer and more through the years. The schools offer a vast number of fine arts programs - more than any other in the state.
