The UFO Festival Laser Shows are held in the Robert H. Goddard Planetarium located on the northwest side of the Roswell Museum and Art Center at 1011 N. Richardson Ave. You may enter and exit through the Museum to access the Planetarium until the Museum closes at 5 pm. The Planetarium will be open during the festival from 12pm through the last laser show each day.


Tickets may be purchased online at www.roswellconnect.com  or at the Planetarium or the Museum's front desk. Online ticket sales will end two hours before each show. The planetarium seats 96 people.The shows are extremely popular and often sell out, particularly in the evenings. We recommend purchasing your tickets in advance to ensure your first choice of shows.

When to arrive:

Doors open 30 minutes before each show for general seating and patrons often start lining up as early as 60 minutes in advance to have their first choice of seats. We are not able to admit patrons after the shows have begun. Tickets for no-shows or late arrivals are nonrefundable. You must have a ticket to be admitted.


Parking is available in the lots south and southwest of the Museum and on the street outside the Planetarium (standard parking regulations apply). Please be respectful of nearby businesses and organizations when parking.

Show Length:

The show are approximately 45 minutes each, except for Laser Beatles which is 30 minutes.

Laser Zeppelin

Led Zeppelin is proclaimed by many critics to be the progenitors of heavy metal and hard rock, and their individualistic style reset the standards for many musical genres in the 1960s and ‘70s.  Indeed, they have been hailed as one of the most successful, innovative and influential bands, alongside Pink Floyd, U2 and the Beatles.  Now you can relive the magical sounds of Led Zeppelin while enjoying a visual treat of custom laser imagery.

Laser Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon

Based on Pink Floyd’s 1973 album of humanitarian, political, and philosophical empathy, Laser Floyd: Dark Side of the Moon is one of the most startling and bizarre laser light shows of all time! Considered by many critics to be the album that brought the commercial breakthrough to Pink Floyd, "Dark Side of the Moon" offers a mixture of psychedelic, rock and jazz sounds. Its sonic backdrops and atmospheric soundscapes combined with a unique assortment of sound effects yield an emotional resonance. The greatest Rock ‘n’ Roll band of all time! Laser Beatles will take you back to a different time in history to re-experience and remember the evolution of this musical phenomenon. The Fab Four’s best spanning 6 years become the background for dazzling laser art. All ages and backgrounds will appreciate this fantasy tribute of music and light to The Beatles and how they helped define a generation.

Laser Metallica

Considered to be one of the pioneering groups in what would become the heavy metal genre, the musicianship and force of this band has been hailed by critics and fans worldwide. Laser Floyd: The Wall
