The Reindeer Run is scheduled for Saturday, Dec. 18, offering a competitive 5K run and 5K walk, as well as a non-competitive 2-mile run/walk. All races begin at 9 a.m. at the Roswell Adult Center at 807 N. Missouri Ave.
Participants in the 5K races will compete in nine age divisions in men’s and women’s categories. Age divisions are 10 and under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-70, and 70 and over. Overall male and female winners will receive awards. First- through third-place finishers in each age group will receive medals. Commemorative T-shirts will be given to all Reindeer Run participants.
Race registration is $40 (plus tax) for those who register by Dec. 16. The registration fee after that date will be $50 (plus tax).
Registration can be done online or in person at the Roswell Recreation and Aquatic Center (1402 W. College Blvd.). Participants can pick up their race packets Friday, Dec. 17, at the Recreation and Aquatic Center from 4 to 6 p.m. For more information, call (575) 624-6719.
