We're excited to present the inaugural Cumbia, Tacos and Tequila Festival Dec. 3 at the Roswell Convention Center. The event is also sponsored by the Roswell Hispano Chamber of Commerce.

Micky Cruz headlines a night of dancing from 6 p.m.-11 p.m. Also scheduled to perform are Baracutanga, Antonio Luis and Proyecto Cumbion and special guest Giselle Cruz. Get your tickets at Hold My Ticket.

Tickets for the musical portion are $20 for general admission and $35 for individual VIP seats. You can also purchase a VIP table of eight for $280 that includes a meet-and-greet with Cruz, a commemorative shot glass for each person and a commemorative wooden nickel for each person (you may keep the nickel, or exchange it for a margarita).

Leading up to the music, we'll have entertainment that is free to attend:

  • A Chihuahua beauty pageant at 5 p.m. (registration form here).
  • A salsa/queso competition in the lobby (5 p.m.-8 p.m.)

Food and drink will be sold separately. We will feature:

  • A street taco bar
  • A posole bar
  • A chips and salsa bar
  • A tequila flight (varieties TBD)
  • Margaritas (classic, mango or strawberry)
