[ARCHIVED] Looking for a loving home

adoptable pet

This male mastiff (pictured) is 2 years old and ready for a loving home. If you think this dog might be the one for you, please visit him at the Roswell Animal Shelter at 705 E. McGaffey St. His impound number is 5056. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. You can call the shelter at (575) 624-6722 to learn more about adoption requirements.

People are encouraged to consider adopting an animal from the shelter, but please remember having a pet is a long-term commitment and should be made only if you are able to properly care for the animal.

Tip of the Week:

Medications intended for people can be very harmful to pets. Make sure to keep your family’s medications – even the ones that usually do not pose a high threat to humans if misused – in a place where pets cannot get them.
