Some Roswell police officers gave Santa some delivery help as they handed out Christmas gifts to local children. The gifts were donated as part of the Santa Patrol of which RPD is participating. The project was started by the Albuquerque Police Officers Association, which this year expanded the project to include other agencies throughout New Mexico. The gifts are donated by citizens in each community and distributed by officers to children and families they encounter while on the job.
