This female pit bull is 3 years old and ready to join a family or individual. You can visit her at the Roswell Animal Shelter at 705 E. McGaffey St. The impound number is 5533. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. You can call the shelter at (575) 624-6722 or go online to to learn more about adoption requirements.

People are encouraged to consider adopting an animal from the shelter, but please remember having a pet is a long-term commitment and should be made only if you are able to properly care for the animal.

Make alternate arrangements if you can no longer provide care for your pet. Recognize any decline in your pet’s quality of life and make timely decisions in consultation with a veterinarian.
