[ARCHIVED] Heeler seeking home

Adopt Of The Week (week of 3-13-17) (website)

Here is a male heeler awaiting a new home. He is 10 months old. You can visit him at the Roswell Animal Shelter at 705 E. McGaffey St. The impound number is 6167. Shelter hours are Monday-Friday 8 a.m.-6 p.m. and Saturday-Sunday 8 a.m.-4 p.m. You can call the shelter at (575) 624-6722 or go to to learn more about adoption requirements.

People are encouraged to consider adopting an animal from the shelter, but please remember having a pet is a long-term commitment and should be made only if you are able to properly care for the animal.

Tip of the Week:

Every dog needs a quiet place to call his own. Create a comfortable area, whether a crate, a mat or a pile of blankets, for your dog to go to when he needs rest or privacy.
