The City of Roswell Parks & Recreation Department will be
hosting the Annual Race for the Zoo Saturday, May 13, 2017.  The event will begin at 8:00am atSpring River Park & Zoo located at 1306 E. College Blvd.  The Race for
the Zoo consists of a competitive 10Krun, 10k walk, 5k run, and a 5k walk.  Participants will compete in
nine age divisions for both men and women in all events. Age divisions are 10& Under,11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59 and 60-70,  and 70
and over. Overall winners male and female in both races will receiveawards.  First through third place finishers will receive medals in each
age group.  T-shirts will be given to all participants and drawings fordoor prizes will take place following the race.   Entry forms are
available at the Roswell Adult & Recreation Center located at 807 N.Missouri or online at roswell-nm.gov.  Registration on race day will be
from 6:30am - 7:30am at Spring River Park & Zoo.  Packet pick up will beMay 12^th at Spring River Park
& Zoo from 4:00pm - 6:00pm or on race day morning from 6:30am -7:30am.  Pre-registration fee for the10K run or walk, 5k run or walk is
$30.00 on or before May 12, 2017 or $35.00 on race day.
