A woman’s body found two weeks ago buried outside a house in south Roswell has been identified as that of Ambra Lynn Taylor, whom is believed to have been murdered.

Roswell Police Department investigators were able to make the identification based on tattoos and other information provided by the public.

Taylor (pictured) was 41 when she disappeared in Roswell in April 2016, the investigation determined. Investigators believe she had been in Roswell only a short time before her disappearance and murder. Investigators believe she had come to Roswell from Albuquerque.

The body that has now been identified as Taylor was found May 9 buried on the property of a vacant house in the 600 block of Greenbrier Drive.

Police continue to ask for the public’s assistance in providing information that could help investigators as they continue to work on this murder case. Anyone with potential information regarding this case is asked to call the Roswell Police Department at (575) 624-6770.
