The Down Syndrome Foundation of SENM is hosting its 5th Annual Educational Workshop on Friday, July 21, 2017 from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the Roswell Convention & Civic Center. This is a great opportunity for teachers, caregivers, families and the like to come together to learn new strategies, and share a passion for teaching students. This workshop is not only for those who work with individuals with Down syndrome, but for all children will all disabilities. The workshop is FREE. Breakfast, lunch, and snacks will be provided.
Keynote Speaker: Stacy Taylor, MA, B.C.B.A
President Advance Behavior & Learning and Advance Learning Academy
Stacy Taylor received her Bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rollins College and completed her Master’s degree in Education at the University of Central Florida. For over 15 years, she has worked as an early interventionist and behavior analyst providing services to people with developmental disabilities and learning/behavioral challenges.
Keynote Speaker: Jill Tatz, MA
Jill has retired as the director of the Congregation B’nai Israel Preschool as well as retired faculty at CNM and UNM. She has just finished a post graduate seminar in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities and she is a LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) Scholar from the Center for Development and Disabilities at UNM.
