On August 8, 2016, Roswell Police Department arrested Jose Castillo,
A.K.A. Joey Kastillo, for nine counts of sexual exploitation of children (possession) and three counts of sexual exploitation of children (distribution). The FBI alerted the Roswell Police Department of the suspected activity on August 1, 2016. Working closely with Special Agents, RPD detectives executed multiple search warrants on computer systems, Mr. Castillo’s home and business, PhotoJoey. The possession charges are fourth degree felonies, and the distribution charges are third degree felonies.
The investigation has not uncovered any evidence of Mr. Castillo manufacturing or generating new images of child pornography.
