A Senior Day will take place at the Eastern New Mexico State Fair, offering senior citizens the chance to take part in games, win door prizes, gather health information, and enjoy food and live entertainment. Fair admission and parking will be free that day, Wednesday, Oct. 4, to all seniors during the Senior Day events from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. in the Commercial Building on the fairgrounds in south Roswell.

There will be health-service vendors, including blood-pressure screening and flu shots (fee may apply). Seniors will be eligible for door prizes and can participate in bingo and other games. Hot dogs and other treats will be available. Live entertainment will be provided by classics/oldies music of Marichin (Frank Castro), tap dancing of the Rac-A-Taps, and line dancing of the Dancing Rascals (pictured).
