From ceramics, stained glass to line dancing, yoga and aerobics, spring classes are preparing to begin at the Roswell Adult and Recreation Center. In addition to these offerings, people can also learn and enjoy Tae kwon do, Spanish, adult coloring, tap dancing and creative recycling. New classes include a pickleball clinic and ballroom dancing.
Registration for the spring-session classes will open March 5 and continue through March 31. Classes will start the week of April 2. A complete list of the class offerings, including the days and times of each, how long they will run for, and the cost, can be picked up at the Adult and Recreation Center at 807 N. Missouri Ave.
Adult classes are open to ages 18 and older. Children’s classes are designed for ages 12 and up. The cost of most classes range from $30 to $40, supplies are extra.
Instructors are being sought for future programs. Fitness and dance instructors, artists, bilingual individuals, computer instructors, musicians, gardeners and others are invited to submit an application to teach classes at the center.
