From ceramics and stained glass to crocheting and hula dancing to yoga and aerobics, summer classes are preparing to begin at the Roswell Adult and Recreation Center. In addition to these offerings, people can also learn and enjoy Tae kwon do, tap dancing and painting among other endeavors.
Registration for the summer-session classes is open through June 9. Classes will start the week of June 11. A complete list of the class offerings, including the days and times of each, how long they will run for, and the cost, can be picked up at the Adult and Recreation Center at 807 N. Missouri Ave.
Adult classes are open to ages 18 and older and children’s classes are designed for ages 12 and up. The cost of classes ranges from $10.50 to $36.75 and supplies (needed for some classes) are extra.
Instructors are being sought for future programs. Fitness and dance instructors, artists, bilingual individuals, computer instructors, musicians, gardeners and others are invited to submit an application to teach classes at the center.
