[ARCHIVED] Registration open for fall classes at Roswell Adult and Recreation Center

Registration for the fall session is currently open and runs through Sept. 8. Classes will start the week of Sept. 10. 

Adult classes are open to anyone age 18 or older. Children’s classes are designed for ages 12 and older. Some of the classes scheduled for the fall include Beginning Clogging, Cribbage, Shuffleboard, Tai Jan Quan – Moving for Better Balance, Basic Photography, Quilling (paper filigree), Painting and other art workshops, as well as Dance and Fitness classes. Cost of classes ranges from $30 to $40, with an additional cost for supplies in some classes.

A complete list of classes is available at the Roswell Adult and Recreation Center (807 N. Missouri Ave.). Those interested can sign up for classes at the center. More information can be obtained by calling (575) 624-6718.

Instructors are being sought for future programs. Fitness and dance instructors, artists, bilingual individuals, computer instructors, musicians, gardeners and others are invited to submit an application to teach classes at the Roswell Adult and Recreation Center.
