The public is invited to a Holiday Open House at the Roswell Museum and Art Center the first Saturday of December. The free Dec. 1 event will take place from 4 to 6:30 p.m. and be filled with classical musical, planetarium shows, art-making, gallery talks and warm holiday refreshments.

4:30-6 p.m.: Roswell Symphony Orchestra Quartet
4-4:30 p.m.: Gallery Talk and Exhibition Opening: “Life Along the Rio Grande” by Vickie Conley
4:30-5 p.m.: Planetarium Show (Free admission)
5-5:30 p.m. Gallery Talk by new Curator of Collections and Exhibitions Aubrey Hobart: “Still Life”
5:30-6 p.m.: Planetarium Show (Free admission)
6-6:30 p.m.: Electric Light Parade on Main Street
The evening will also include member discounts in the Museum Store, holiday cookies from Eli’s Bakery, gingerbread cookie decorating for kids, a Stellar Coffee hot beverage buffet and marshmallow roasting in the courtyard. The Roswell Museum and Art Center is at 1011 N. Richardson Ave.
