From “Tai Ji Quan for better balance,” yoga and aerobics to line dancing, ballroom dancing and tap dancing, winter classes are lined up at the Roswell Adult and Recreation Center. The wide variety of programs also includes Tae Kwon Do, Spanish, ceramics, glass art, beginning clogging, hula and plenty more.
Registration for the winter-session classes will be open from Dec. 8 through Jan. 12. Classes will start the week of Jan. 14. A complete list of the class offerings, including the days and times of each, the cost, and how long they will run, can be picked up at the Adult and Recreation Center at 807 N. Missouri Ave.
Adult classes are open to ages 18 and older and children’s classes are designed for ages 12 and up. Cost of classes ranges from $5 to $47.50 and supplies (needed in some classes) are extra.
Instructors are being sought for future programs. Fitness and dance instructors, artists, bilingual individuals, computer instructors, musicians, gardeners and others are invited to submit an application to teach classes at the center.
