[ARCHIVED] Pool tournament set at Adult Center

The Roswell Adult Center Foundation is sponsoring an 8-Ball Pool Tournament this Saturday, Oct. 12. In addition to cash prizes for first through third places, the RAC Foundation will be presenting the winner with an additional $100.

Sign-up for the tournament will start at noon and play will begin soon after. Cost to participate is $40.

Also, the RAC Foundation and the City of Roswell Parks and Recreation Department in the near future will be replacing all of the pool tables that are currently in the Adult Center’s Pool Room. In conjunction with that project, the foundation will be conducting a silent auction for the four pool tables that are being removed. Those interested in bidding may pick up bid envelopes at the Adult Center front desk. Winning bids will be determined Dec. 2.
